Introductory Post

Hello! This is a blog about Jane Austen's Emma, written by yours truly, Claire. I chose this book because I love Jane Austen novels, nobody else wanted to read one, and I was given the option of doing the project solo. Emma is a romantic comedy about Emma Woodhouse, a 21 year old who thinks she's good at matchmaking. The novel follows her adventures as she tries repeatedly (and most often fails) to put people together. As far as what I hope to get out of this project, I'm interested primarily in giving this book the attention it deserves, as I didn't do it justice the first time I read it.
