Movie Adaptations

There are 6 movie adaptations of Jane Austen's novel, Emma. My favorite two are Emma (BBC TV mini series, starring Romala Garai) and Emma (film, starring Gwyneth Paltrow):

The next four adaptations are either lesser known or of a lesser caliber of awesome:

Aisha (2010), starring Sonam Kapoor:

Another Emma from 1996, though this one is a TV movie and stars Kate Beckinsdale:

Then, there is of course Clueless (1995), starring Alicia Silverstone:

And finally, there's BBC's first attempt at Emma from 1972, starring Doran Goodwin:
